Slow travel is the best (& cheapest) way to travel anyway, because you really get to see the area you’re travelling to. The experience in Burkina Faso was definitely exhausting, but in the end everything turned out all right. Plus, we have a good story to tell and lots of photos to show :)

Maybe we should get used to slow travel again?
80 km doesn’t sound like much, but as in your experience – it can really be exhausting!
