Martin Heck from Timestorms Films spent four months filming the beautiful landscapes of New Zealand (from Tongariro National Park, Taranaki NP, Lake Tekapo, Canterbury High Country, Lake Wakatipu to Skipper Canyon) to create these gripping timelapse videos of absolutely superb quality! While doing so, he drove through amazing scenery, slept in caves under a sky of glow-worms, hiked through the bush and explored hidden canyons…

Ok, so here’s a different kind of time lapse video: From earth. View our planet from above. I (and pretty much everyone else lol) found this last weekend but I wanted to wait for #VideoFriday to post it here.

You’ll get to see the time lapse sequences of photographs taken by the crew of the ISS expeditions 28 & 29. The editing of the video was done by Michael König and the material itself is … well, until one of us makes it into space, NASA will do the job :)

The following (incredible) time lapse videos were shot by Dustin Farrell. I’ll share the first two parts of his planned trilogy. “Landscapes Volume Two” got huge attention on twitter where they called it “the most amazing time lapse video yet.” Well, see for yourself:
